Winkel W140620-500 Zinc Paste

Single component. It can be applied as a topcoat protection on aluminium surfaces or over the old galvanised layer. Provides cathodic protection. Conforms to ISO 3549 and ASTM A780. Before application, it should be mixed thoroughly with a suitable mixer until it becomes homogenous in the box. Provides 40 to 60 μ thickness in single coat application.

Provides long-term protection against rust and corrosion. High purity, heat and weather resistant zinc shielding. Galvanized parts are retouched. It is used for protection after welding and assembly works. It prevents oxidation for a long time. Contains 99% zinc pigment Dries fast, heat resistant, conductive and paintable. 

Area of Use:

Zinc Paste is mainly used for aesthetic reasons because it gives a shiny aluminum appearance but also has good chemical and abrasion resistance, which makes it possible to use in industrial environments. It is used for coating, priming and retouching on body parts. It is used in agricultural machinery, trailers, vehicles and tow trucks, silos, greenhouses, construction machinery, steel structures, etc. used. 

Usage: It can be applied to a clean surface with a brush, roller or conventional air spray and Airless method. Corners, sharp edges, bolts and nuts must be pretreated first; then one coat is applied evenly with a brush.
